New Rules for introduction 1st September 2009
May 08, 2009 07:18PM
I have had several emails regarding the new rules implemented internationally on May 1st but not in English leagues until 1st September 2009
I apologise for not mentioning them earlier.
I suggest that if clubs wish to play to the new rules, then as long as both sides and the umpires agree, please do so.
Attached are pdf and word documents describing the new rules.
One problem you might have is that the pitch markings may not be present.
They will definitely have to be present for the winter season.
The following link to the winter league site, describes the marking requirement:

and below is an extract:

Pitches MUST be correctly marked with broken lines marked with their ‘outer edges 5 metres from the outer edge of each circle-line; each broken line starts with a solid section at the top centre of the circle-line and each solid section is 300 mm long with gaps between the solid sections 3 metres long’.
